The Weekly Edition #34

First off, Happy Halloween! I am not one for making a big fuss of this holiday, hence why you haven't seen much from me in the terms of Halloween makeup, costumes and treats. I am much more of a Christmassy person. I am in my absolute element then, so watch out!

Wishlist: Nursery Interiors Take One

I am kind of thinking I will need a few of these posts before I finally decide on anything concrete. I mean, work is still getting done in the house! I am a long way off before I can decorate anything! I have already made a pin board with some ideas so far, so bare with me.

Get Your Fall Glow On

Fall is the perfect time to talk about getting that glow, and do you know why? With Autumn comes incredibly dry, dull skin. I may have combination skin but as soon as it hits September I see myself reaching for the highlighter more and more.

5 Reasons Why I Love Blogging

I guess the title of this post is pretty self - explanatory. It is coming up to a year since Flourish & Blotting was first thought of and I just felt this would be the perfect post to kind of reflect on what I love about it.

The Weekly Edition #33

Here I was thinking I was having the most boring, standard week ever and I happen to be involved in a little car accident Friday. Don't worry, me and baby are fine after being checked out at the Women's, but obviously not a fantastic finish to my week.

Perfect Autumnal Manicure Colour Combinations

I think it is no secret that I love my manicures and I love my SensatioNail kit even more for allowing me to be chip free for 2 weeks. And no, this is not a sponsored post, I just really believe in this product!

Review: Charlotte Tilbury's Goddess Skin Clay Mask

I have been using Charlotte Tilbury's Goddess Skin Clay Mask for well over a month now and I thought it was about time I shared my thoughts on it.

The Weekly Edition #32

This week has flown by, lets face it, all weeks are seemingly passing me by! I am finding myself really looking forward to Christmas now, and by looking forward, I mean really looking forward to it. It is our last Christmas as a twosome so I plan to make the most of it.

My September Favourites

I cannot believe it has gotten to the middle of October and I am only just publishing my favourites now. To say September flew by would be an absolute understatement. Unfortunately, my weekends have been taken up with building work and the not so nice things and blogging has had to take a bit of a backseat.

What I Will Be Watching This October

October, Halloween and Autumn. All my favourite things rolled into one. I certainly will be the perfect blogger cliche and curled up under a million blankets, eating my weight in chocolate whilst watching the following things.

Review: Hylamide Matte 12 Primer

It was a while ago that I met with the lovely Laura from Deciem who kindly sent me a couple of products to test. I explained to her about my combination skin and she suggested the Hylamide Finisher Matte 12 Primer* and am I so glad she did!

The Weekly Edition #31

Admittedly this post nearly didn't happen. You know when you get that really disinterested writers block? That, and a pretty rubbishy week has seen Flourish & Blotting take a bit of a backseat. Well, not anymore! I am back and more determined than ever to post 4 times a week..!

An Autumn MAC Haul

I was so well behaved in August that I had a little bit of money left over in September, so what do you think that meant? A small splurge in MAC of course! I really needed some new Autumn bits, and this is what I bought..

The Weekly Edition #30

So, last week was kind of a big one for me. I finally announced I am expecting. I still can't quite believe it, but you can read all about my first trimester here.

The First Trimester

Surprise! You may, or may not, have already guessed that I am pregnant! Well done if you did though! I haven't exactly hidden it with my constant whinges of tiredness, and that whole bout of morning (noon and night) sickness that I had, but I tried to keep it as secret as I could. But with the first scan over and done with (phew!) I thought it was about time I let you all in on it.
