My Makeup Bag; Primers

This is going to be a new, mini series of posts showcasing my makeup bag. You know, for the nosey ones among you. I thought primers would be the perfect start as it is usually the first thing I apply.

These are obviously my current primers, I don't tend to keep empties or anything.

Sephora Beauty Amplifier - I love the creamy consistency of this primer. It really does just glide on.

Sephora Smoothing Primer - This is my most recent purchase and is featured in my Summer Sephora Haul. I really like it. It is very similar to Illamasqua's Hydra Veil in so many ways but without the annoying spatula application.

Maybelline Baby Skin - This was my first primer post Benefit's Porefessional. I wanted something cheaper that was just as effective, and I definitely found it in this one. Admittedly I don't really reach for it as much anymore because my skin has really changed since having a baby, but it still is a firm favourite.

Nyx Shine Killer - Again, another Hydra Veil dupe. You can read all about my thoughts on this primer here.

Nyx Pore Filler - Another old favourite. However, I hate how it comes out of its tube. It kinda spits at me? Like the consistency isn't fluid enough. Ah well.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot - I think this has to be my least favourite primer out of my collection. I just don't think it does my greasy skin any favours. However, I love how it applies so I still find myself using it from time to time

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat blur primer - I actually received this primer in last years beauty advent calendar.  As expensive as the advent calendar was, I really do believe it offered great value for money. I have found that I am still using most of the products even now.

Can anyone recommend any other primers for combination skin?

Love, Jo
