The Too Faced Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette

When I first saw this palette it really was like love at first sight. It was on my Beauty wishlist right away and into my basket in my most recent Sephora haul. as quick as you can say yolo.

Admittedly I was a little bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the range of colours is amazing. I will not want for another nude again, there is something there for every occasion. I mean it, literally you could go from a day look to a nighttime look with just a sweep of your MAC 224. Unfortunately, the fall out from the majority of the glittery shades is frightening. I mean, I looked like an extra from Twilight after I applied Fairy Tale. This palette is not cheap either!

The pigmentation isn't great either, more so on some of the darker shades. I just found them quite difficult to blend.. maybe it's my non makeup expertise shining through, but who knows! Although, as a Too Faced ambassador I refuse to be defeated.

The palette came with a booklet of potential makeup looks too which I loved. I am not particularly imaginative with my makeup so this helped a great deal when it came to a recent night out sans baby. It might sound strange, but since having a baby my makeup skills have taken a serious nosedive! They weren't great before, but now.. cue clown emoji.

My favourite shades have to be Heaven, Cutie Patootie, Love Bug and Smokin'. All very shimmery and pretty.

I think something needs to be said about the packaging too. It. is. STUNNING, I love the textured script and the embossed floral design. However, I would have loved a clasp, or someway of keeping it closed to protect the pans from damage.

All in all, I like this palette, but I don't love it. Put it this way, I found myself reaching for my Urban Decay Naked Heat palette much more. You can read about that here. Have you tried this palette out yet? What did you think?

Love, Jo
