Inside My Makeup Bag; Foundation

I'm not one for a stockpile of foundations.. clearly! I mean, since this picture was taken I have in fact finished my all time high street favourite; Revlon ColorStay Foundation For Combination/Oily Skin. I used to love my high end foundations but lemme tell you, statutory maternity pay bites!

I decided to then really jump on the high street bandwagon with Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. I *like* it but I don't love it. I think I got the colour wrong.. but then the shade before the one I picked would have been too light. Typical.

I know this is technically a 'tinted moisturiser' but Bobbi Brown's Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser still has pretty good coverage, and really suits my combination skin, shocker, right? I bought this because it was the only thing that really fitted in with having a new baby and still wanting to maintain a little bit of a beauty routine. You can read all about my Post Baby Makeup Products here.

Admittedly I loved L'Oreal Nude Cushion Foundation when I first used it, but after a couple of uses my brush (yes, I used a face brush, not the sponge provided) was picking up less and less product. I was really having to work extra hard to build the base that I wanted. Other than that the formula is amazing and really suited my combination skin.

Love, Jo
