2018 Goals.

I am noticing a definite theme with my 2018 goals.. I really need to give myself more time for, well, me? 2017 wasn't the best year for me in terms of anything but Phoebe, she is literally my light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

However, I am determined that 2018 is going to be THE year.  These are definitely long term goals, but ya know, small steps towards the bigger picture and all that.

Getting my blog on
I feel like these first couple of years have been all about discovering my writing/photography style. I think 2018 will be the year that I am finally ready to commit. I am determined to work hard on all my social media platforms; Instagram, Twitter, and even Facebook now! And post 2-3 times a week, every week.
I purchased Lightroom and Photoshop in December, so this past month has been all about learning to use it, and possibly starting another venture all together. But I will have to wait and see how that fits in with going back to work at the end of this month. Big sad face.

Reread Harry Potter
Admittedly not so recently I have completely lost my reading mojo. Just the thought of picking up a book is kind of abhorrent to me, especially when my to do list is a million miles long. I guess I just can't sit down and relax anymore?
So I thought it might be a good idea to not stress myself out by starting a completely new book and just revisit an old favourite. Plus it gives me a very good excuse to purchase all the new paperback covers.

Live more healthily
I know everyone probably says this, but I am grouping a few things under this umbrella. I want 2018 to be the year that I start eating healthily again and loose my baby weight for good. I want to get more medical help for the trauma that I have been put through and start learning of a way to cope with it, whether that be through medicinal means or CBT.
I also want to do more, but also rest more.. If that makes sense? I am constantly on the go from 6 (ish!) in the morning when Phoebe wakes up till long past her bedtime. I either need to be better with my time keeping or start siphoning off jobs for James to do when he's relaxing in front of the television.
I want more baths too..

Start saving for our Disney dream
It is my absolute goal to take Phoebe to Disney World before she starts full time education. You know, before all the fines for taking your child on holiday during term time kicks in.
Also, James has never been! Shocking, right? He's very skeptical at the moment, but with the promise of amazing food I'm sure I can bring him round.

And that's it! I have some lesser important ones like; rewatching ALL the episodes of Friends from start to finish (thanks Netflix) and finally listing all the things I want to sell on eBay, but hardly life changing.

What about you?

Love, Jo
