A Tribute To Tilbs; The Instant Look in a Palette.

For Christmas I was lucky enough to receive the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette in Beauty Glow.  I have wanted one of these palettes in like, forever, and since it was the last one in John Lewis with a squished box to boot, they gave us an extra 10% off!

I guess you will be wondering about the 10%.. James originally got me the Goddess Skin Clay Mask which obviously I already have. Luckily, he had kept the receipt (not such a boy thing to do!) so I could exchange it for something I really wanted. Ta da!

The boyfriend seal of approval
Well, put it this way, James complimented me on my makeup the first time I used this palette.. Surely that should be enough to convince you on how good this product actually is?!

Hmm possibly too short of a review to post on the blog though, right?

Pigmented to the max
All pans are so pigmented and very comfortable to wear. I don't really spend ages (I should change that to 'I can't really spend ages..') applying my makeup so it is nice that this look is so easy and doesn't require a lot of precision. The formula also doesn't crease which is an absolute bonus.

Shades that compliment
As you can see from the swatches I have taken are of a similar range, and they just look so good together! Having all these shades under one lid as you might say is a huge time saver, especially for a mummy.

Work suitable
This palette is perfect for day time wear as it has more subtle rose gold tones, which is what I wanted seeing as I am returning to work at the end of the month. I am also much more of a natural look with a bit of shimmy shimmer kinda gal. There was a smokey version of this palette available too, but I felt it would look too harsh on me.
