Spring Transitional Makeup.

Spring Transitional Makeup
I am absolutely loving the light mornings and evenings at the minute. I don’t think I have ever appreciated the beginning of Spring so much as I have this year. I guess that is down to me starting work at ridiculous o’clock in the morning and wanting more of an afternoon/evening with Phoebe when I get in.

Anyway, with there being more day light hours I like my makeup to reflect that. So, this is what I have been wearing on my face to help welcome in Spring.

Benefit's Galifornia
Benefit's Galifornia
This is no doubt the perfect spring blush. It’s not too pink, but it’s not too orange either. You can actually read a full review of this blush here. Truthfully, I had a hard time choosing between this shade and Coralista. Both are absolutely perfect for spring, and my love for Benefit blushes runs deep. I remember purchasing Benefits's Real Cheeky Party Palette in Barcelona airport and it has been my best beauty investment to date. It has lasted SO long! I am nowhere near pan yet on any of the shades, and I use this product on the daily.

Charlotte Tilbury's Amazing Grace
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Amazing Grace
Pink lips for spring are an absolute staple. I am definitely veering away from the matte look now, shocking, I know! I just prefer a bit more sheen, I also find them much more comfortable to wear too. I am making a complete exception for Amazing Grace though, it's not drying, it lasts, and it is easy to apply.

NARS Limited Edition Wanted Palette
I feel like my eyeshadow should definitely match my lips in this instance. This palette is so delicate and subtle, perfect for spring. You can read a full review of it, including swatches, here.

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara
I recently did a full post on this Eyeko mascara, and you can read all about it here. This is my favourite mascara at the minute. Applied lightly it is enough for during the day as it really does define and lift in a single swipe. However, it has a completely buildable and non-clumping formula which is perfect for evenings out.

Glossier's Boy Brow
Glossier Boy Brow
For a lighter look this spring I am contemplating not filling my brows in at all and just using this product. The formula is thick and fluid enough to do the job of a pencil, and also the gel keeps my brows in place. Bonus! Anything that makes my life easier gets a big thumbs up from me. You can read all about my Glossier haul here.

Glossier's Wowder
Glossier Wowder
The jury is still out on this product. I loved it at first, but then it started to break down around my t-zone around 3 hours in.. And when I set my face with powder, I want to SET my face with powder. However, it stopped doing it for some reason, and I now love it again. It just goes on so light. Perfect timing for spring.

Stila One Step Correct Primer
My favourite primer. EVER. I literally can't say enough good things. You can read all about it in full here.

What are your go to Spring products?

Love, Jo
