Living That Subculture Life. An Anastasia Beverly Hills Review.

I am marking my first Anastasia Beverly Hills palette purchase with a blog post, apt, yeah? Well, it's a pretty big thing for me, and all I can think is where have I been all this time?!

Say hello to my new baby; Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette. Granted, there are few more matte shades than I would have liked in one palette, but I think I can make it work for me. The shades are so neutral, not too out there, perfect for me really. You know that one palette that you just think;

this was made for me. That.

I kind of like the earthy colours. I am no makeup artist, and even I find this quite easy to use and blend.

The quality of the eyeshadows themselves are out of this world.

They are so pigmented. I didn't have to load my brush up at all, I'm very much of the less is more ilk though. There is no fallout, well, non that I have noticed. Please tell me if you ever see me with khaki coloured cheeks.. PLEASE.

This is just a select few shades.. but you get the gist, right? {from bottom to top: Cube - Dawn - Destiny - Adorn - All Star - Mercury - Axis - Roxy - Electric - Fudge}

I even wore Electric without eyelid primer (I know, I'm such a daredevil), and it stayed on all afternoon/evening with no transference, or even fading.

My favourite shades have to be Electric for that little bit of shimmer, Mecury and Dawn.
