Happy New Mamia.

Aldi's Baby and Toddler Specialbuy event
What's the New Year without the odd bargain, or two? When you compromise on price you certainly don't want to compromise on quality, and with Aldi's Baby and Toddler Specialbuy event looming you definitely won't be doing that!

Products featured have been gifted for review.

I am a massive ambassador of the Specialbuy and if you don't believe me, check out my other post. I also have a whole wooden kitchen and pantry to prove it. Well, not me personally, but if they did a grownup version I probably wouldn't say no!

Phoebe loves books which has often meant a few have unfortunately ended up in the bath, not to mention her Kindle... but let's not talk about that disaster. It still works, sorta, and that's all that matters!

Bath books are great for that kind of mischievous behaviour, and I especially love the Disney ones Aldi has on offer, including this Mickey Mouse one.

Ducks go down such a treat in this house. There doesn't go a day when don't I find myself doing an impression myself, especially when it comes to bath time. These Nuby Groovy Duck Bath Toys are great for keeping my little one entertained in the bath, not only do they squeak, they also shoot water too.

The pirate one is currently our favourite.

Books. I have always known that reading to babies and small children is the best thing you can do, that, and trying to stop the millionth toddler meltdown of the day for the sake of your sanity.. (inside mummy joke) That's Not My range, and the musical books are always a hit with Phoebe. The range that Aldi offer is great too, and only at a fraction of the retail price.

In the past we have picked up The Gruffalo (including the cutest soft toy.. for mummy, not Phoebe) and some Julia Donaldson activity books, again, for mummy, not Phoebe..

These 'bo bo's' i.e Raspberry and Apple Soft Oaty Bars have taken over the Apple Biscotti obsession. Not gonna lie, I am a bit disappointed Phoebe doesn't share my chocolate obsession, but also a little relieved that she doesn't eat complete rubbish when she snacks. Another snack that's always a winner are the Disney Fruity Bakes...

I'm tellin' ya. This kid will never love chocolate as much as I do.

It's no secret that Aldi's Mamia food and snack range is fab. It's perfect to grab and go, also the fact that additives and any other nasties are kept to a minimum keeps the mum guilt at bay. Phoebe loves the pure fruit pouches, any flavour, she's not fussy.

My key picks:
Star Baby Hooded Towel & Mitt - We have 3 of these already.
Lily & Dan Swan Baby Sleepsuits - Actually all things Lily & Dan. The bedding, sleeping bags, and clothing are just some of the prettiest I have seen around in a long time.
Farmyard Children's Cutlery Set - Perfect for the transition from plastic cutlery to something a bit more 'grown up'. (as seen in first image)
Mamia Baby Change Backpack - Because a good changing bag is hard (and expensive!) to come by!

The list is absolutely endless. But don't forget your nappy/wipes/nappy bag staples!

Products are available online from 6th January 2019 and in store nationwide on Thursday 10th January 2019.
