Starting the Year With A Little Love.

As you may know one of my goals for this year is to set aside a little more time for myself. I definitely don't get a lot of it! I pretty much work full time during the week, and when I am not working, I am looking after Phoebe.

Products featured have been gifted for review.

Granted, my sweet boy has taken away the majority of the household chores which leaves me with time to get a bath, do some blogging, whatever I chose really. But another helping hand has come in the form of chemist.co.uk.

The option for discreet packaging means free delivery is offered. There is a fabulous range of products and brands which pretty much cover everything; makeup, skincare etc. And everything is discounted to a very reasonable price. Thumbs up all round.

For example all of this came to just over £50 with no discount codes applied.

I can't express enough how much of a superb service chemist.co.uk offers. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Dr Paw Paw Tinted Peach Balm
The only product I was most looking forward to trying was the one I enjoyed least. It's always the way, isn't it? It's kind of thick and cakey, perfect if you are using it as blush, not so much if you have lips like the Sahara. I will persevere though, the shade is pleasant enough.

Max Factor Masterpiece Waterproof High Definition Mascara in Black
I can't believe how many high street products are available, makeup heaven if you ask me. I chose this mascara because I desperately wanted a waterproof mascara for the first time EVER in my life.

I know right, where have I been?

When I googled best waterproof mascaras this one came up trumps too, so, win win.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleanser Micellar Water
I know Garnier is so coveted, but I wanted to try something a little bit different. I absolutely love micellar water, only does my skin feel completely cleansed when I have used it. I am determined, no matter how tired I am, to completely remove every last scrap of makeup each night...

Absolutely determined.

Bio Oil Dry Skin Gel
I recently saw this on Instagram and my interest was peaked. I enjoyed using their oil so much I thought this handy little pot would be perfect to keep on my nightstand and use on my eczema before going to sleep.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Glow Scrub
I have tried the L'Oreal Pure Clay Purity Mask in the past, but I much prefer this version in a handy tube. Tubs are always so.. messy, yes?

Nivea For Men Replenishing Post Shave Balm
I am so late to the party with this one. I have been meaning to try this as a primer underneath my foundation for like, ever. There was a time when beauty bloggers raved about how good this product was, now I am ready to give it a whirl.

I will report back at a later date fo sho.

Eau Thermale Avene Extremely Rich Compensating Cream
I desperately wanted a new night cream and I had never tried Avene before, although it has always been a brand I have been interested in. The aesthetic of the packaging drew me in too. What can I say? I am a sucker for a nice shaped product.

Pearl Drops Tooth Polish White Sparkle
I tend to bleach my teeth once a month, but I have always turned to Pearl Drops for that in-between refresher. It's more affordable than most other whitening toothpastes and it has always worked for me.

Badedas Original Indulgent Bath Gelee
Honestly, I have always wanted to try this product. I know, it's been around for years, but I am all for that extra indulgence when it comes to bath times, especially in 2019.

A 'gelee' sounds so fancy too!

If you are looking for a new year, new you kind of dealio, definitely check out chemist.co.uk.
