What I Have Been Doing in January.

I suppose after my long, rambley post about what has happened recently, I thought I might update you on what is going on right now.

I fell out of love with the cinema for a while. I guess there was nothing that really caught my eye, and with a diminishing relationship to boot, I couldn't think of anything worse than sitting in a crowded dark room with my then other half. So far I have seen Mary Poppins Returns and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. I loved both but I was pleasantly surprised by Fantastic Beasts. I had heard such mixed reviews before I went, but I would say it was definitely on parr with the first film.

I think it has helped that a cinema has opened up near where I live, and the free parking is an added bonus.

I have actually been enjoying watching TV again. Granted, it does take me a bit of time to get into these things as I have a hard time keeping still, but Luther and You have both been series I have quite enjoyed.

My health continues to go through peaks and troughs. I will have a really good day eating wise and then I can't eat for 2. I have tried to minimise clothes buying, and rely on the fact it's winter and size 12 baggy jumpers are ok over my size 8 frame..

I finally got my hair cut. It feels so much fresher and healthier, I always swear I won't leave it so long next time. I may go one shade lighter, but as it is, I love it.

I have also just started reading The Tattooist of Auschwitz. It's good so far but I am definitely making slow progress. I just have to remember to be gentle with myself, picking up a book is hard to do when you are not in the right headspace.

Blogging wise I have been trying to tidy up old posts, improve links etc. I swear it is a task that will be the death of me, but my OCD wouldn't have it any other way. So, if there are a few broken links, or posts missing, you know why. I also have a million and one blog posts still in draft,

I have booked to go to Disneyland Paris in September. I am SO excited to be back in the Disney bubble; Spirit Jersey, I'm looking at you babe. You can read all about my previous trips here. It will be so nice to share the experience with someone who 1. Has never been before 2. Shares my love of Disney. I have already started making lists and I will probably do a blog post all about them when it gets a little closer to the time.

I also have a teeny, tiny January to do list.

01. List some stuff on eBay.
02. Finally publish my Disneyland haul blog post.
03. Rewatch Harry Potter.

How's your January going?
