Breakouts In Your Early 30's.

Yep. You still get them. Well, I still get them, very occasionally though, so I suppose that’s something. In all honesty I don’t cope very well when I have a spot, let alone two or three. End of the world gear, no joke.

Some products featured have been gifted for review.

However, my fellow spotty 30 something's I am going to give you a sneaky insight into the products I reach for when tragedy really strikes.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Micellar Water | Don’t get me wrong, I love my Garnier Micellar Water more than Galaxy’s Golden Eggs, but I also love Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost range. This product removes even Waterproof mascara and it is so gentle.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Glow Scrub  | I love the idea of an in-shower quick mask. It feels like a mini pamper in the morning and I haven’t half noticed a difference since I started using this. I actually got sent this as part of my loving me a little bit more campaign for 2019. You can read all about it here. This face wash tends to get rid of any makeup residue that might have been left after cleansing and makes my skin feel squeaky clean without feeling dried out.

REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic | I love an astringent toner and this one does just that. I feel like it cleanses my skin a little bit more than the Pixi Glow Tonic. It does have a tendency to sting more over newer spots but it’s a small price to pay. I quite like the whole REN range, it's just a shame it's so pricey!

Lacura Charcoal Face Mask | This is the 2nd face mask I have tried from Aldi and I absolutely love them. The first one is featured here. This one makes my skin feel so clean and smooth. I really love the skin healing and cleansing properties of charcoal, especially in a face mask. I really noticed a difference to my oily t-zone too, even when it came to the next day under makeup. For the price, they are well worth it and they last.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion | I purchased this on a blogger recommendation and I am so glad I did. Gone are the days when I used to use toothpaste and actually think it worked. After applying to my spots using a cotton bud it’s like magic. It’s slightly smelly, and stings a bit on open sores, but I can’t fault it for drying spots out and helping them on their way to the other zit side.

Sudocrem | Not only does this make my spots look less angry after application, but it is also helping to heal them at the same time. I like to apply this at night, and even under makeup the next day if my spots are still a little red. This handy little tube is great for popping your handbag and for time away. I tend to use sudocrem when I have ‘inadvertedly’ picked and squoze… What can I say? I can’t leave them alone!
