A March Update.

Surprisingly, March has been a super busy month for me. I honestly planned for it to not be, and to have more time to spend on myself etc.

I think the most significant thing was setting up Wingardium LevioSocial. I am so excited to be doing something that I am passionate about. I have been meaning to take the plunge for ages, but the timing has never been right etc. It honestly feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Even if I don’t get anywhere, at least I had given it my best, and that’s all one can hope for, right? If you are a small biz, or even blogger who wants some photos taken for upcoming features, contact me.

I finally bought a new TV. I treated us both to a 55 inch 4k smart TV because we were watching Solo one night and I thought; this would look so much better with a bigger screen! Luckily the living room will allow for it so… I just can’t wait to watch Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them: Crimes of Grindelwald now. Another justification for the purchase. We both love watching YouTube etc. So it just makes perfect sense to invest in something like this.

Speaking of TV, March has been THE month, hasn’t it? Aside from my utter disappointment after watching Captain Marvel (There were only 2 things that made that film 1. The soundtrack and 2. Goose) March has more than made up for it with the release of QE Season 3, New Amsterdam, Baptiste, After Life and Madeline McCann Documentary. I can’t say I was very impressed with the latter, it was so frustrating and upsetting to watch. As a mother the theories surrounding her disappearance seem so farfetched, but then watching her parents with what seems to be a serious lack of empathy in their behaviour, makes me think it's not so 'out there'.

I also added a couple of Funko’s to my collection. No surprise there then! After saying I wasn’t going to get anymore Harry Potter Funko's in my Funko Pop's 4 Lyf post I ended up buying Harry Potter & Platform 9/3, Nearly Headless Nick, Professor McGonagal and Dobby. I have also been reluctantly purchasing the mini surprise boxes in the hope of finding Mrs. Norris, and do you know what? I did! I nearly left it behind too (well, to drop £5 a pop on a gamble is a bit irresponsible, right?) but there was just something about this one.

I have finally caved and bought a few more items of clothing too. I had a mass clear out, Marie Kondo style, and it didn’t leave me with much left! I didn’t spend a fortune, mostly clearance stuff in fact, but my weight is so unpredictable at the minute I couldn’t go another minute trying to pull off the ‘oversized’ look. I have decided I am going to start doing a daily #lotd kinda thing on Instagram Stories too. Admittedly, I have loved finding my style again after what seems like forever. Whaddya think?

The end of March and the beginning of April means it’s Mother’s Day and Phoebe’s 2nd birthday. I can’t wait. I have already bought her main present (furReal Ricky, the Trick-Lovin' Pup) and I plan on picking up a couple of other more functional bits, along with a cake and some balloons.

And that's about it! Happy March everyone!
