May's Makeup.

May's Makeup
I am absolutely loving my spring makeup selection at the minute. I don’t really deviate from my staples, but I love changing up my bases, shades etc. In conjunction with the warmer months.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Vol 4 | This is a perfect, subtle palette. Admittedly I was, and am, a little disappointed with the lack of apparent pigmentation. For the money I thought this palette would offer more of a pop, but it's suitable for daytime wear/minimal makeup days only and that works for me, hence why I have been loving it this Spring.

Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara | This mascara does what it says on the tin. It’s easy to apply, and coats the lashes in a buildable way. It doesn't leave a mess on my eyelids either as the spooky is relatively small and thin.

Too Faced Hangover Face Primer | This is fab for these dryer Spring months. I have found in the past month or so that my skin has been super dry, tight even! Although, unfortunately my oily areas continue to be oily, much to my disappointment!

Glossier's Wowder | I always need a setting powder, no matter where I go. I tend to use the same one during the day, just to mattify any oil on my t-zone. I do prefer a more set powder though as I am pretty clumsy when it comes to the loose stuff, I tend to get it everywhere.

L'Oreal 642 Color Riche Shine | Nothing screams spring like a nude lip with pinky undertones does. This was a recommendation from In the Frow a while back, and honestly? It’s not my favourite. It tends to breakdown on my lips pretty quickly even with a primer, but the formula is so moisturising, and the shade so pretty that I can’t help but use it.

C.Y.O No Shine Zone Matte Foundation | This has quite heavy coverage, but not as heavy as Revlon’s Colorstay hence why I have opted for this lighter base for the next couple of months. This is also in a lighter shade, and far more suited to my pale (ghost) skin. You can read a full review on it here.

Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Sculpting Crayon & Setting Gel | Is, and forever will be, my go to brow product as a more affordable Gimme Brow. Say no more.

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow | What’s Spring without a little bit of glitter? What’s any season without a little bit of glitter? I don’t wear this every day, but I have been reaching for this, and other light, gold, glittery toned eyeshadows recently. This one is called Kitten Karma and the only Magnificent Metals shadow I own, but I wouldn't mind expanding my collection.
