What's Going On Spring?

What a season! What a month! I feel like for part of it I have had the actual world on my shoulders. So, apologies if this blog post is a little bit unexciting.

My health | My stomach has been the worst it's been in quite a while, I swear my heat pad has had more action in the past month than my poor boyfriend! My energy levels have been capoot, and motivation has been at an all time low. It's like I just want to sleep all the time! Everything I seem to eat feels like it makes my gut twist and hurt and honestly, I am doing my best to eat during these times because otherwise I could easily go days without touching a morsel. Luckily I have received my gastro referral, I just have to wait 3 months to be seen for it!

Travels | Unfortunately, because of my good ol' tum I have had to reschedule quite a few things. So, during my much needed time off me and G took a little jaunt to the the Trafford Centre, Liverpool city centre, and then pretty much chilled out together. I was treated to a couple of Funko's and a Byron burger. Yum! I can't say I'm ready for the onslaught of the next couple of weeks, but here goes!

Square eyes | However, on the flip side being so poorly has meant I have had a bit of time to catch up on all the good TV hitting our screens at the minute. Line of Duty has been at the top of my list, although, very disappointing compared to the previous series. I have absolutely loved watching Fleabag, the way it has been filmed is like nothing I have seen in a while. In my opinion I feel like 2 series is enough though, anymore and it's probably overkill. The Bay has been another juicy murder mystery I have recently gotten my teeth into too. And to top it all off I finally watched Moana after months of saying I was going to. Honestly? I didn't like it! Coco has to be my favourite recent Disney film of choice.

Youtube has always been a bit of an obsession of mine, and I have recently been loving The Lodge Guys, Spoonful of Sugar and L&R Dreaming.

A novel idea | I have also started reading again, finally I hear you all shout! I am currently reading The Hearts Invisible Furies by John Boyne and I have every intention of finishing off a couple of false starters too.

I'm no gamer | We also bought a Nintendo Switch, suffice to say Mario Kart tournaments are a big part of our evenings now, like we needed another excuse to not become complete hermits, eh? I absolutely love it. I have always maintained I am a bit of a home bird, the boozing/sociable life certainly never chose me, in fact, I think it completely bypassed me entirely!

What have you been up to this month?
