Starting A New Summer Skincare Regime.

AD | Now that it is summer my skincare routine has had to alter accordingly. It’s weird how my skin will change from week to week, especially as the weather is so interchangeable too. Nightmare, right? This is definitely the wettest June since, like, forever.

It wasn’t a week ago I was sweating it out with a fan on me constantly, and now my woolly jumpers are back on, heater doing its thing, and me feeling like there is no end to this winter!

My skin is breaking out like crazy, and my oil levels, especially around my T-Zone are fit to cook with. However, in an aim to keep things minimal I was sent a few new goodies from Nivea which have been helping me through this rather rough patch.

Biodegradable Cleansing Wipes | I know wipes are controversial at the minute, and I thoroughly intend to right this wrong in a few months by using reusable cotton pads, but these are actually biodegradable, made from 100% renewable plant fibres. I tend to use wipes at the beginning of my skincare routine, I then do like a 'double cleanse' with my face wash and toner.

Daily Essentials Rich Moisturising Day Cream | An absolute classic. This helps with my combination skin because it is so much lighter than all my other moisturisers. It sinks in quickly and has a lovely, fresh scent. I have been enjoying using this under my makeup, just before using a primer as I have found it makes my foundation apply that little bit smoother.

Peel Off Urban Skin Peel Off Mask | This was so quick and easy. No mess, no fuss. This is probably my star product out of the whole bunch, as it perked my skin up in no time at all, and it was a great little midweek skin boost without too much effort.

3 in 1 Urban Skin Detox Clay Wash | This makes my skin feel really clean just out the shower. I also love the fact that this is a multifunctional product and can be used as a mask too. Clay is so great for problematic breakout areas and areas of oiliness.
